How do Legacy Pro Sealants perform?
Legacy Pro Sealants are engineered for professional
installers — combining strong adhesion, flexibility, and movement capability
appropriate to each product category.
Where specified in the Technical Data Sheet (TDS), products
meet or exceed ASTM C920 performance classifications, including:
- ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 50 (HP1, HP2, HP3, HP4)
- Use G & O classification (HP3)
- AAMA 800 (Sections 4 & 5), ASTM C1382 (EIFS), and AAMA 713-24
compliant (HP4)
Cure systems vary by product (neutral-cure, acetoxy-cure,
or hybrid polymer). Refer to each product’s TDS for full technical
specifications, cure times, and application limitations.
What are the best uses for each Legacy Pro product?
HP1 / HP2 – Kitchen, baths, laundry and utility rooms
(Neutral-Cure 100% Silicone – 2.8 oz & 10.1 oz)

Do Legacy Pro Sealants meet ASTM or AAMA standards?

What is the HP4 V-notch nozzle?
Each HP4 cartridge includes a precision-engineered V-notch nozzle designed to help deliver a smooth, consistent bead – particularly useful for detailed joints and multi-crew applications requiring uniform results.
Do you offer color matchces for siding and window applications?
Yes. HP4 Hybrid Polymer Sealant draws from a color library of more than 200 established standards, covering over 5,000 coordinated matches aligned with leading siding, window, and trim brands.
Initial Launch (2026): Core 4 (White, Black, Brown, Gray) plus Clear
Expanded colors are introduced in phases based on contractor demand and production scheduling.
Custom color development may be available for qualified contractor accounts.
Can I use HP4 as a gutter sealant?
Yes. While not specifically labeled as a gutter sealant, HP4’s hybrid polymer formulation and ±50% movement capability make it well-suited for many exterior sealing applications, including gutter joints.
Always ensure surfaces are properly prepared and free of standing water prior to application.

What temperature range can Legacy Pro products be applied in?
Application Temperature (All HP Products):
0°F to 120°F
(Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of frost or ice.)
Service Temperature:
- HP1 / HP2 / HP3: -40°F to 300°F
- HP4: -40°F to 200°F
